This Privacy Policy explains how Dentin ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use our mobile application ("Dentin"). By using Dentin, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.

We collect the following information when you use Dentin:

• Email Address: Collected during account registration to create and manage your account.
• Appointment Information: In security reasons we don't collect data related to patient appointments, including dates, times, and details for scheduling. This is only accessible on the device where you create the appointment.
• Payment Information: If you purchase a premium subscription or other in-app purchases, payment is processed through Apple/Google stores. We do not collect or store payment details directly.
• Medical/Patient Data: We may collect medical history and details about patients as part of the appointment scheduling process. This information is only stored to improve patient care and is not shared with third parties.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information for the following purposes:

• To create and manage your account.
• To enable you to schedule and manage patient appointments.
• To provide access to premium features if you subscribe.
• To communicate with you regarding your account, appointment updates, or support requests.
• To process in-app purchases for premium features or other services within Dentin.

3. Data Storage and Retention

Your data is securely stored on Supabase, a backend service that offers encryption and safe data management. Your data is retained indefinitely unless you delete your account. Upon account deletion, all personal information and appointment history are permanently removed from our servers.

As a user, you have the following rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):

• Right to Access: You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Right to Rectification: You can update or correct your personal data.
• Right to Erasure: You can delete your account and all associated data at any time.

We do not share your data with third-party services for advertising, analytics, or marketing purposes. Payment processing is handled by Apple/Google stores, and we do not collect or store payment information directly.

7. Children’s Privacy

Dentin is not intended for users under the age of 13. If we become aware that a user under 13 has provided personal information, we will take steps to delete such information.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted within the app, and your continued use of Dentin constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
